1. Invention patents can only enter substantive examination after they are made public. Has your patent been made public?
2. There are two elements for entering the substantive examination: making a request + paying the fee. Have you not paid the fee yet? Pay the fee quickly. Your invention patent will enter the substantive examination stage only if both elements are present. The Patent Office does not proactively remind you to pay the substantive examination fee. Unless you have not paid the substantive examination fee within three years from the date of application, the Patent Office will notify you of the approaching deadline two or three months before the expiration date. Years have passed, how much do you think this has delayed?
If the poster remits or transfers money to the Patent Office, don’t forget to write the application number in the postscript column and indicate that you are paying the substantive examination fee, otherwise the money will be returned.
Since the poster does not appoint an agency, it is best to find someone who understands the patent process to help you check it. It would be a pity if a good invention and creation were scrapped because you are not familiar with the patent process!
