Using independently developed products and technologies, it is made of "black technology" new material carbon fiber composite materials. "Feiyang" combines the characteristics of "lightness, solidity and beauty". It is both lightweight and high temperature resistant, and can be used normally in a hydrogen combustion environment above 800 degrees Celsius. This is the first time in the world that carbon fiber composite materials have been used to make the Olympic torch shell, supporting the "Green Olympics".
Carbon fiber is a new material with excellent mechanical properties. Its mass is one-quarter of steel, but its strength is seven to nine times that of steel. It is known as the "black gold" among materials. Sinopec has developed carbon fiber technology with independent intellectual property rights, ranking first in China and third in the world in patent applications. It is also the first large-tow carbon fiber manufacturer in China and the fourth in the world.
