Apple is developing an all-glass iPhone with a touch screen. What are the huge problems in the development process?

While people are still complaining that Apple's latest model still has a bad model with obsessive-compulsive disorder like Liu Haiping, in fact, Apple has already started to develop new mobile phone screens. According to foreign media reports, Apple's new patent is called: electronic equipment with glass shell, with a patent number specially applied, including proprietary drawings of this product.

This patent describes how to combine multiple pieces of glass to make it look like a whole piece of glass. On the all-glass iPhone, the glass back and the glass side are transparent, allowing the device to include an additional display screen that can be viewed through the side or the back, and providing a touch or pressure sensitive sensor, through which the user's fingertips can sensitively sweep the whole body of the phone and reach any desired place without delay.

According to the patent disclosure, Apple's six pieces surround the screen and tightly wrap the whole device. There should be a flexible screen and a transparent box to display 3D visual content.

In the surround screen, you can choose any screen as the main screen to play its leading role.

However, there are still many difficulties before the development and actual mass production of this patent. First, the concept is a wrap screen, but the essence is still a folding screen that has been developed by Android phones before. Smoothness and seamless feeling are a little inconsistent. Second, the launch time is far away. Next year, the new mobile phone will still have a big screen (and maybe bangs), not to mention the 5g chip. Third, Apple's 5G logic board will become larger to adapt to new technologies, which will inevitably increase the area and overall cost. The sudden increase in the overall manufacturing cost also reduces the possibility of it coming out. Fourth, the all-around screen looks cool. The most deadly thing is that it is beautiful but fragile. It may be possible to produce anti-drop mobile phone cases, but it will seriously affect the user experience, and manufacturers will not rashly launch them.
