to apply for the fire engineer series, the most relevant major is fire engineering technology. Its core courses include building electrical control technology, fire combustion, building fire prevention design principle, ventilation and smoke control technology, building fire water supply project, fire monitoring system design and construction, common fire extinguishing system design and construction technology, fire fighting technology and equipment, etc.

The field of employment is the design and construction of fire protection systems for industrial and civil buildings, the operation and maintenance of fire protection systems for intelligent buildings and factories, the fire protection management of enterprises and institutions, and the management departments of fire protection administrative departments. The professional qualification is divided into three categories: second-class fire engineer, first-class fire engineer and senior fire engineer.
