Can the patentee change?
The patentee may be a natural person, a legal person or an unincorporated organization. The patentee is the collective name of the owner and holder of the patent right, and refers to the person who obtains the patent right according to law and assumes corresponding obligations. According to the different acquisition methods, the patentee can be divided into the original subject and the inheritance subject. The original subject refers to the patent applicant who was granted the patent right when the patent application was approved, and the successor subject refers to the subject who obtained the patent right through transfer, license or inheritance, so the patentee can also change it.
