What is Artificial Neurorobot System No.1?

Shen Gong No.1 On June 15, Tianjin University and Tianjin People's Hospital released the artificial neural rehabilitation robot system "Shen Gong No.1", which is the world's first "pure mind control" artificial neural robot system for total limb stroke rehabilitation. Compared with the brain-controlled mechanical exoskeleton unveiled at the World Cup, "Shen Gong I" can really realize the synchronous coupling of cerebral cortex and muscle activity, and realize the integration of body movement, thinking and behavior.

This technology lasted 10 years, and it is a key project supported by the National "863 Plan", "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Developed jointly by Tianjin University Neuroengineering Research Team and Tianjin People's Hospital.

Major breakthroughs have been made in key technologies such as information analysis and processing of compound imaginary movements, asynchronous brain-computer interface training and recognition, synchronous coupling optimization of cortex-muscle activities, and extraction and screening of nonlinear features of EEG after stroke. At present, it has an independent intellectual property cluster including 23 authorized national invention patents and 1 software copyright. It is a "pure mind control" artificial neurorobot system suitable for the rehabilitation of stroke in the whole limb.
