Li Hao, a native of Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, studied at Wuhan University of Science and Technology of Surveying and Mapping and Hohai University, receiving bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. He has successively served as director of the teaching and research section, deputy director of the department and director of the department, and as director of the photogrammetry and remote sensing discipline. Now he is mainly engaged in teaching and research in photogrammetry and imaging geographic information systems. He has trained more than 20 graduate students, won the Hohai University Teaching Achievement Award many times, and won the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Academic Science and Technology Works Competition Award as an instructor. He has presided over or participated in major national hydropower projects such as the Three Gorges, Longtan, Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba, major national transportation projects such as the Second Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and Sutong Bridge, as well as scientific research work for National Natural Science Foundation projects, and won the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping. The third prize and the third prize of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published more than 30 academic papers, edited 2 textbooks, and co-edited 3 textbooks. Obtained 3 national invention patents and 3 utility model patents as the first patentee. He currently serves as a member of the Aerial Surveying and Remote Sensing Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Society of Surveying and Mapping and a member of the Education Committee of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping.
