The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is an international organization dedicated to promoting the use and protection of human intellectual works. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is one of the specialized agencies of the United Nations organization system 16. It manages 24 international treaties covering all aspects of intellectual property protection (16 on industrial property, 7 on copyright, plus the Convention on the Establishment of the World Intellectual Property Organization).
