1. Visit the court’s official website
Most courts will provide case inquiry services on their official websites. You can find the official website of the relevant court through a search engine, and look for the entrance to "Case Inquiry" or similar functions on the website. On the query page, you may need to enter the case number, name of the party or other relevant information to query. You can learn the basic information, trial progress and results of the case through the official website.
Second, go to the court archives
If you need more detailed case information or related documents, you can go to the court archives. In the file, you will need to provide proof of identity and information relevant to your case so that staff can assist with your enquiry. Archives usually store the original materials, judgments, rulings and other documents of the case, which can provide you with more comprehensive case information.
3. Contact the parties or lawyers.
If you have contact with the parties or lawyers in the case, you can also ask them about the closing status of the case. The parties or attorneys usually have a better understanding of the details and progress of the case and can provide you with more specific information. But be aware that when it comes to personal privacy and business secrets, they may not be able to disclose much information.
In short:
Inquiries about closed cases can be made by visiting the official website of the court, going to the court archives, or contacting the parties to the case or lawyers. These channels can provide you with basic information about the case, trial results and relevant documents. During the inquiry process, please be sure to provide accurate information and respect the privacy and rights of others.
