The construction of the airport conforms to the development strategy of the national Yangtze River Economic Belt, the needs of the coordinated development of Huaihai Economic Zone, and the needs of the leap-forward development of northern Anhui, which is conducive to further improving the spatial layout of the national civil aviation airports, forming the logistics distribution center of Huaihai Economic Zone, enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of Suzhou's development, and accelerating the formation of railway, highway, water transport and aviation comprehensiveness. With regard to the positioning of Suzhou Airport, our city will insist on dislocation development, and pay attention to keep matching with the future economic development level, market demand and growth rate of our city and surrounding cities, so that Suzhou Airport can really promote the leap-forward development and accelerated take-off of Suzhou, northern Anhui and even the Central Plains Economic Zone. Zhang Shuguang said that the opinions and suggestions of the expert group not only reflected the overall consideration of the national civil aviation development, but also reflected the specific guidance for the airport construction in our city. Our city will seriously absorb the opinions of the expert group, revise and improve the report as soon as possible, and strive to come up with a scientific and reasonable design scheme in the shortest time. We should continue to strengthen coordination and strive for more and greater support.
