Yangcheng Lake covers an area of 120 square kilometers and is divided into two parts: West Lake and East Lake, belonging to different administrative regions. East Lake is mainly located in Wuxian City, Suzhou, and the hairy crabs produced by East Lake are commonly known as Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs in Suzhou.
West Lake, located between Suzhou and Shanghai, is mainly located in bacheng town, Kunshan City, so the hairy crabs here are called Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs in bacheng town.
Because the hairy crabs in Yangcheng Lake belong to different administrative regions, two trade associations, Xie Su and Ba Xie, were born. Yangcheng Lake is also called Yangcheng Lake. It is located in the south of Jiangsu Province, five kilometers northeast of Suzhou City, and spans Wuxian County and Kunshan County. On the bank of Yangcheng Lake, it is adjacent to Shanghai in the east and Suzhou in the west. Beijing-shanghai railway and Shanghai-Nanjing-expressway, National Highway 3 12, all pass by, only half an hour's drive from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport.
It has a coastline of 9.67 kilometers, winding and poetic. The length from north to south is 17km, the maximum width from east to west is 8km, the area is 1 17km2, and the water storage capacity is 370 million cubic meters.
