Is the business license transferable?

The business license is transferable, and the transfer of the company's business license is a company change. The transfer must go through the following process:

1. Both parties sign a valid transfer agreement;

2. Both parties shall go through the change registration with the administrative department for industry and commerce with valid certificates;

3. With the consent of the industrial and commercial department, issue the changed business license;

But the business license of individual industrial and commercial households is not transferable. According to Article 14 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Interim Regulations on the Administration of Urban and Rural Individual Industrial and Commercial Households, "The business license and its copies and temporary business license shall not be lent, sold, leased, altered or forged. Individual industrial and commercial households that lend, sell, lease or alter their business licenses and their duplicates and temporary business licenses shall have their illegal income confiscated and may be fined up to 5,000 yuan. If the circumstances are serious, the business license and its copy or temporary business license shall be revoked. Those who operate with a fake business license, a fake business license copy or a fake temporary license shall have their fake photos and illegal income confiscated, and may also be fined less than 1 10,000 yuan. If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated by judicial organs.
