Sanming university, located in Sanming City, Fujian Province, is a full-time undergraduate college organized by the Fujian Provincial People's Government. The history of the school can be traced back to Quan Min Normal School, which officially opened on February 1903+ 12. 1September 1999 to 20001October, Sanming Teachers College, Sanming Vocational College, Sanming Normal School and Sanming Teachers College merged to form sanming university. Sanming university was established in May 2004 with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
