For the 2021 National Civil Service Examination (National Examination), each department will issue an interview announcement on its own to inform the interview time, format and other specific matters. Candidates must refer to the interview notice from the applicant unit.
Take the 2020 National Examination as an example. The basic interview situation, or refer to:
1) Departments where the interview format adopts leaderless group discussions, such as: Ministry of Education, National Intellectual Property Bureau, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Civil Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Ministry of Finance, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, Forestry Bureau, Patent Office and Development Research Center of the State Council, etc.
2) Taxation Bureau

Based on structured interviews, Shanghai Customs will adopt a structured group interview format for the 2020 National Examination.
