Jaguar supercar patent drawings exposed

Ada Comments: The Jaguar C-X75 concept car was first launched at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Its range-extended electric concept is very advanced. The new car in the patent picture has more inheritance from the concept car, and high-horsepower super sports cars will eventually join the clean energy camp.

Recently, some overseas media exposed the patent drawings of Jaguar’s new supercar. The car will be the successor to the Jaguar XJ220 and will most likely be the production version of the C-X75 concept car.

In terms of appearance, it can be seen from the patent drawing that the front half of the new car is very similar to the Jaguar C-X75 concept car exhibited in 2010. The stance of the entire vehicle is relatively flat, and the forward-extended air intake is fully aggressive. The new wheel hubs adopt a highly aesthetic five-petal design, and the body structure formed by the front and rear wheel bulges has excellent aerodynamic characteristics.

In terms of power, there is no power information about the new car yet, and it is expected to adopt the same extended-range electric mode as the concept car. For reference, the Jaguar C-X75 concept car has a 145-kilowatt motor on each of the four wheels. The vehicle has a top speed of up to 330 kilometers per hour and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers in just 3.4 seconds. In pure electric mode, there are zero exhaust emissions.
