Matters needing attention
1, don't blindly pursue high power.
Because of the advantages of light-emitting principle, automobile LED headlights are already very bright without too high power. As we all know, halogen lamps emit light by tungsten wires. After electrifying, the tungsten wire is heated to incandescent state to emit light. Electric energy is converted into heat energy and then into light energy; In the process of converting into light energy, about 90% of the heat is converted into infrared rays that have no influence on lighting, and only about 10% of the energy is converted into visible light, and the electro-optical conversion efficiency is only about 10%.
2. Choose the color temperature of headlights according to personal preference.
At present, the mainstream automobile LED headlights on the market mainly have two color temperatures: 6000K pure white light and 2500K ultra-yellow light. 6000K pure white light, such as noon sunlight, has good color rendering, clear lighting and is not easy to be visually tired;
3. Choose the headlight model accurately.
Commonly used models in car headlights are: H 1, H3, H4, H7, H8, H9, H 1 1, 9005, 9006, 90 12 and so on.
Whether halogen lamp or LED lamp, all bulb interfaces are produced according to unified specifications; As long as the headlamp models correspond, the interfaces must be the same. Therefore, before upgrading and installing LED headlights, you must first find out what headlight model your car is. Headlights are not the right model, so they won't be installed.
4. Select LED headlights with "radiator+fan" cooling mode.
At present, there are three main heat dissipation methods adopted by mainstream automobile LED headlights on the market. The first type: radiator cooling, the second type: copper belt cooling, and the third type: radiator+fan cooling. So far, the most efficient way to dissipate heat is the third one.
