There are many kinds of graphite for nuclear power, such as reflector graphite. In addition, the main material of spherical fuel used in Tsinghua’s gas-cooled reactor is also graphite. However, the raw materials for production of the two are different. The former is obtained by using coke materials such as petroleum coke and pitch coke through calcination, crushing, screening and distribution, molding, heat treatment, purification and other processes. The raw materials of the latter are natural graphite and artificial graphite, which are obtained through mixing, molding, heat treatment and other processes. The functions are different, the process is different, and the raw materials are also different.
