Is there a national standard for nondestructive testing of important wire ropes?

GB89 18-2006 Important purpose steel wire rope, which is the national standard of steel wire rope, including strength, diameter tolerance and breaking force. Non-destructive testing is about wire rope wear and broken wires. It is not clear whether there is a national standard for this kind of detection and error, and no similar standard has been seen.

Wire ropes commonly used in lifting equipment include phosphating coated wire ropes, galvanized wire ropes, stainless steel wire ropes or plastic coated wire ropes. The manganese phosphating coated steel wire rope produced by patented technology has the longest service life. Manganese phosphating film can greatly improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of wire rope surface. The fatigue life of phosphating coated steel wire rope is 3-4 times that of smooth steel wire rope. With the research of wear-resistant phosphating solution, there is still the possibility of further improvement. According to the current market price of phosphating coated wire rope, the daily average cost of phosphating coated wire rope is only about 30% of that of smooth wire rope. Phosphate coated steel wire rope is an upgraded product of smooth steel wire rope, which is for reference only.
