In the process of data processing of documents, China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office found that the instructions of paper patent applications submitted by some agencies had paragraph numbers before natural paragraphs, which brought some adverse effects to the data processing and examination of application documents by the Patent Office. In order to cooperate with the smooth launch of the electronic examination and approval system of the Patent Office and adapt to the changes in future examination methods, from now on, the paper patent application instructions submitted by patent agencies are required not to contain any paragraph numbers.
