Brief introduction of Huang Lusheng

Huang Lusheng,1February, 964, was born in Shangyou County, Jiangxi Province. Professor and president of Jiangxi Agricultural University, animal genetics and breeding scientist, academician of China Academy of Sciences. Huang Lusheng 1984 graduated from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Jiangxi Agricultural University, 1987 received a master's degree, and 1995 received a doctor's degree from the Russian National Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 201165438+On February 9th, he was elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences. 1 successively served as doctoral supervisor of University of G? ttingen, Huazhong Agricultural University and Jiangxi Agricultural University, director of the Ministry of Agriculture and Jiangxi Key Laboratory of Animal Biotechnology, and deputy to the 18th National People's Congress. 2. He presided over the construction of a genomic DNA library, covering all the existing local pig breeds recorded in China Pig Breeds. On this basis, the genetic characteristics of growth, disease resistance and meat quality of China local pigs were systematically studied, and the unique genetic mechanism of brown coat color formation of China local pigs was further clarified. He presided over the construction of genetic mapping resource group of economic traits in large domestic pigs, comprehensively and systematically located the gene loci of main economic traits in pig production, and found the causal mutation loci of quantitative traits that determine the size of pig external ear. In China, the research on molecular breeding improvement of pigs was carried out earlier, and the patented molecular breeding technology for breeding improvement of growth, meat quality and disease resistance of breeding pigs was systematically developed, which was popularized and applied in the main pig producing provinces in China and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits. 4 Huang Lusheng has published more than 60 academic papers/kloc-0 and more than 60 SCI papers.
