Introduction:
Nanjing University of Science and Technology is a national key university with the coordinated development of science, engineering, literature, economics, management, law, teaching and art directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. It is one of the key universities under the national "2 1 1 Engineering" and "985 Engineering Superiority Discipline Innovation Platform". It is one of the universities selected for "1 1 Plan", "Excellence Plan" and "Sino-Russian Engineering University Alliance" and is known as the cradle of weapons technical talents.
1953, Nanjing University of Science and Technology was founded by the Academy of Military Engineering of the People's Liberation Army of China (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin Institute of Technology"). After the development stages of Artillery Engineering College, East China Institute of Engineering and East China University of Science and Technology, its current name was changed from 1993.
The school faces Zijin Mountain in the north and Ming City Wall in the west. The campus covers an area of 3 1 18 mu. The total construction area of the school building is 980,000 square meters.
Nanjing University of Science and Technology is the only unit in Jiangsu Province that has won the titles of "Top Ten Patent Gold Awards in Jiangsu Province" and "Top Ten Patent Inventors" for four consecutive years. Relying on the construction of universities and university science parks, Nanjing University of Science and Technology has established the first patent industrialization pilot base in China, which has made important contributions to national defense and national economic construction.
