Male, born in July, 1957, from Shaowu, Fujian. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Fuzhou University, vice president, professor and doctoral supervisor. 1978- 199 1 Studied physical chemistry in the Department of Chemistry of Peking University, and successively obtained Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees. In August 2002, he served as the Standing Committee Member and Vice President of the Party Committee of Fuzhou University. As a well-known scholar in the field of photocatalysis in China, and a director of the Photochemistry Committee of China Solar Energy Society, he founded the only research institution in the field of photocatalysis in China-the Photocatalytic Research Institute of Fuzhou University. As the project leader, he has undertaken more than a dozen scientific research projects, including national key scientific and technological projects of high-tech industrialization, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, pre-research projects of the General Armament Department of the People's Liberation Army in the Tenth Five-Year Plan, key teachers' funding programs of the Ministry of Education, key construction projects of Fujian Province, key projects of Fujian Natural Science Foundation, and horizontal development projects of enterprises, with research funds reaching 58.35 million yuan.
In recent years, the following scientific research achievements have been made: (1) More than 60 research papers have been published in important academic journals at home and abroad, including 27 SCI and 4 EI; (2) Applying for national patent 1 1, and 6 items have been authorized; (3) 3 appraisal results, including 2 internationally advanced 1 item; (4) The two patent achievements of solid superacid high-efficiency photocatalyst and multifunctional photocatalytic air purifier have been industrialized and achieved remarkable social and economic benefits. 200 1 was awarded "National High-tech Industrialization Demonstration Project" by the State Planning Commission.
