Research and application of phenolic resin adhesive?

In 2005, Zhang Qisheng of Bamboo Engineering Research Center of Nanjing Forestry University completed the research and application of larch tannin phenolic resin adhesive. This project belongs to the fields of wood science and technology and chemical processing engineering of forest products. Larch tannin phenolic resin adhesive was made from larch tannin extract instead of phenol (the substitution rate of phenol was 60%), which was used to manufacture artificial boards such as outdoor plywood. /kloc-0 started the pilot test in May, 1988, passed the pilot test in March, 1990, and won the national invention patent in July, 1998. Larch tannin has a large molecular weight, strong chemical activity and high associated biological viscosity. There are many difficulties in making larch tannin phenolic adhesive, among which the main ones are: short adhesive life, insufficient adhesive strength and high adhesive viscosity. The project successfully solved these problems by degrading and modifying tannin and selecting reasonable reaction conditions (formula, feeding sequence, temperature, time, etc.). ) and a standard adhesive was obtained. After continuous promotion and improvement, we have accumulated a lot of experience, continuously improved the quality and expanded the application field. Compared with similar research abroad, China is the only country in the world with independent intellectual property rights and products of larch tannin phenolic adhesive and powder tannin phenolic adhesive, which has obvious advantages in manufacturing methods and easy use. Main technical indicators: (1) replacing 60% phenol to make larch tannin phenolic adhesive; (2) The free phenol of the prepared larch tannin phenolic adhesive is less than or equal to 0.3% and the free formaldehyde is less than or equal to 0.2%, and the formaldehyde emission of the produced plywood meets the requirements of national E 1 standard; (3) The produced plywood meets the first-class plywood standard (for outdoor use); (4) The solid content of powdered larch tannin phenolic resin is ≥92%, and the storage period is ≥ 1 year. Main economic indicators: (1) Compared with ordinary phenolic resin, liquid larch tannin phenolic resin can reduce the cost by 400 ~ 1260 yuan per ton according to different phenol prices; (2) There is no need to change the technology and equipment of wood-based panels, and there is no need to increase the equipment investment of application enterprises. This project is the product of recycling deciduous pine bark, which can turn waste into treasure. Tannin phenolic adhesive has the advantages of low cost and low toxicity, and its bonding performance is equivalent to that made of expensive phenol. Suitable for making plywood (such as cement formwork, container floor, etc.). ) and particleboard with various structures made of wood and bamboo. It has been applied in more than 100 enterprises in seven provinces in China, which has effectively promoted the scientific and technological progress of wood-based panel industry.
