The subject areas are polymer chemistry and physics. Mainly engaged in olefin polymerization catalyst, polyolefin synthesis, polyolefin functionalization and polymer structure characterization. In recent years, as the project leader, he has undertaken many research projects, such as the National Key Basic Research Plan (973), the key and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the doctoral program fund of the Ministry of Education, China Petrochemical Co., Ltd., DSM Company of the Netherlands, Dow Chemical Company of the United States and so on. Includes a novel supported catalyst for olefin polymerization and polyolefin structure regulation, and a high-performance multi-component polyolefin alloy prepared by an in-reactor alloying method. Many achievements have been made in metallocene catalysts, organic catalysts of pre-transition metals and post-transition metals, olefin polymerization, solid-phase graft polymerization initiated by free radicals, polyolefin-based functions and fine polymer materials, and characterization of polymer chain structure. In recent years, he won the second prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology (2003) and the third prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Education (1998). He has published more than 50 papers 100 in academic journals at home and abroad, including more than 0 papers100 in SCI and EI, and more than 200 papers cited in SCI journals.
