Pharmacology and toxicology of tolterodine tartrate tablets
This product is used to relieve symptoms such as frequent micturition, urgency and urgency urinary incontinence caused by overactive bladder, and it is a competitive M-cholinergic receptor blocker. The results of animal experiments suggest that the selectivity of this product to bladder is higher than that of salivary gland, but it has not been confirmed clinically. This product is metabolized into 5- hydroxymethyl derivative after oral administration, which plays a major pharmacological role and its anticholinergic activity is similar to this product. Both of them have high selectivity for M- choline receptor, but have weak effect or affinity for other neurotransmitter receptors and potential cell targets (such as calcium channels).
