Shangqiu university, founded in 1978, is one of the undergraduate universities in Henan province and one of the key universities in the central and western China. Shangqiu School covers an area of about 225.7 hectares, with a beautiful campus environment and a green coverage rate of 68.2%.
The school has two characteristic professional groups and 23 colleges, covering 9 disciplines including science, engineering, literature, law, education, management, art, physical education and medicine. Shangqiu university, founded in 1978, is an undergraduate college in Henan Province, located in Shangqiu Cultural Tourism Zone and Shicheng Scenic Area. It is the center of Shang and Zhou culture and one of the cradles of Confucian culture in China, with profound historical and cultural connotations. Shangqiu University, formerly affiliated to anyang normal University, was founded in 1958. 1960 was changed to the business teaching and research group of Shangqiu Normal University. 1978 Shangqiu participated in the strategy of building a prefecture-level city with higher education above junior college, and Shangqiu University was formally established.
