The production of crystallized glass using gold mine tailings as the main raw material was studied. According to the basic composition of glass-ceramics, the MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 system is selected as the formula basis. The main components of the glass are determined from the lowest melting point, crystal phase composition and lattice matching and the crystal nucleation agent is selected; using DTA, XRD, SEM, etc. Testing methods to study the effects of composition and crystallization process on crystallization performance and physical and chemical behavior. The results show that by adding an appropriate amount of magnesium and aluminum materials and network structure-adjusting oxides to gold mine tailings, a glass-ceramic with good properties whose main crystal phases are cordierite, spinel and enstatite solid solution can be obtained.
