How to ensure the stability of patent right

The patent application document consists of several elements, including the abstract of the specification, the drawings of the specification, the patent claim, the specification and the drawings. Among them, the claims are the scope of patent protection. The number of claims reflects the characteristics of the scope of patent protection to some extent. The number of domestic patentees' claims is generally less than 10, and the number of claims with relatively large effective proportion is also between 1- 10. In China's patent charging standard, since the claim starts from item 1 1, each item is increased by 150 yuan. The increase of application fee is one of the factors that affect the number of patent claims of domestic patentees. For foreign patentees applying in China, the number of claims exceeds 10, accounting for a large proportion. Adding additional technical features to subordinate claims and adopting hierarchical and progressive protection will help to maintain the stability of patent rights.
