Daylighting device: also known as light collector, it is the outdoor part of light pipe lighting system, which is used to collect sunlight. Air tightness, water tightness, wind pressure resistance and impact resistance are important performance indicators. At present, most of the lighting covers are hemispherical, and the light collection effect is better than that of traditional skylights and lighting skylights, but most of them are made of PMMA (acrylic) or PC by blow molding, both of which have the disadvantage of weak impact resistance. The latest collector is a crystal diamond collector with patented design, and its effective solar heat collection surface area (EDCS) is several times higher than that of ordinary transparent lighting cover. Light guide device: also known as light guide tube, is the key component to transmit light, and its internal surface reflectivity has a great influence on the system efficiency. In order to ensure the high transmission efficiency of the whole system, the pipe wall material with high reflection should be adopted. The transmittance can be tested according to the current national standard "Classification and Test Method of Daylighting Performance of Windows" (GB/T 1 1976). When the pipe length exceeds 20 times the pipe diameter, the transmission efficiency is lower than 0.75, which makes the overall efficiency of the system lower than 0.5. It is uneconomical to use and should not be adopted.

Diffuser: The main function is to distribute the collected outdoor natural light indoors as much as possible. In addition to ensuring reasonable light distribution, it should also have high light transmittance and improve the efficiency of the whole system.
