Is there any skill in wearing spikes?
Don't choose nails that are too high, or you will trip when running. Don't walk barefoot, or you'll get blisters. Don't wear spikes all the time, because some distances are not suitable. If you don't use spikes often, you don't use them often. If you want to use them, do some recovery exercises. Don't practice in crowded places. One of my classmates twisted his foot in order to avoid a person because of his strong grip on spikes. He hasn't been here for more than a month, and he's still light.
