What is HEIF?

HEIF picture is a container picture format. It can contain pictures and picture sequences (a file can contain multiple pictures). There are two encoding formats: HEVC and H.264/MPEG-4AVC. HEIF allows the photos taken by users to be stored in a smaller size, saving mobile phone space. With the popularization of HEIF format pictures in the industry, system albums need to support HEIF at the system level.
