2. High stability after emulsification, long-term non-bleaching of oil, related to your emulsification process and emulsifier, has little to do with silicone oil itself;
3. Different manufacturers have different production processes and emulsifiers. Some directly use anionic surfactants (such as AES), some use nonionic surfactants (AEO series, Span series, Tween series), and some use mixed surfactants (anionic and nonionic mixed). Generally, nonionic surfactants are used as emulsifiers, not one surfactant, but more than two surfactants. In the use of emulsifier, we can learn from Procter & Gamble's patent, and there are many similar reports, and it is very practical. According to the cost calculation, if AES is used as emulsifier, it generally needs 50% of the 25%AES of the product, which is equivalent to 18% of 70%AES, so the cost is very high. If AEO series nonionic surfactants are used, only 2% mixed emulsifier is needed, and the cost is extremely low. The nonionic emulsified silicone oil emulsion will not be bleached for one year.
It is suggested that nonionic surfactant is the best emulsifier.
