Hello, Article 25, Paragraph 4 of my country's Patent Law clearly stipulates that no patent rights are granted to animal and plant varieties, but methods of producing animal and plant varieties can still be protected by the patent law.
Most countries do not grant patent rights to new varieties of animals and plants, but prefer to protect them in other ways. For example, our country promulgated the "Regulations on the Protection of New Varieties of Plants" in 1997. You can check the relevant provisions in this regulation.
