Honda's new CITY Fengfan hatchback version first exposed patent pictures may be domestically produced to replace Competition Rui

Honda has launched a new generation of City model in the Southeast Asian market. This car is the domestic front model. Honda also said that it will bring the new front model to the domestic market this year. Before the arrival of the new front model, the patent image of the hatchback version of the City was exposed, indicating that Honda is planning to bring a hatchback version to the City.

In terms of design, the front face of the hatchback City version basically maintains the same shape as the sedan version, which further unifies the City car series. The side of the body is also consistent with the sedan version, including the design of the rear door and triangular window.

The difference is of course at the rear. Overall, the hatchback City’s rear is very smooth, with a simple spoiler and rear wing, and the taillight style has also been redesigned. It can be seen from the rear of the car that the car is a forward-developed hatchback model, unlike the domestic Honda Competition, which looks uncoordinated at the rear. At present, the size and power parameters of the hatchback version of City are not known, but the power part can completely refer to the configuration of the sedan version of City, and Honda will use different engines according to different markets.

City’s hatchback model is no stranger. In its earliest days, the City was actually a sedan version of the Fit. At that time, the City was still called Sidi in China. Fengfan, currently sold in China, actually shares a technology platform with Fit. However, judging from the design of the new-generation City model, the hatchback version of the City launched this time is obviously significantly different from the Fit. It cannot be ruled out that it will become a substitute for the Competition in the domestic market. At least in terms of design, it is better than the Competition. It’s too much to coordinate.
