Wang Zhigang's Academic Achievements

1984 presided over the comprehensive control technology of Anoplophora glabripennis in farmland forest network and won the third prize of scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Forestry; 1993, the project of population ecology and comprehensive management of northern Apriona germari won the second prize of scientific and technological progress in Hebei Province; 1997 presided over the Macro Model of Tree Species Cooperative Prevention and Control of Monochamus alternatus and won the first prize of Hebei Science and Technology Progress; In 2002, he presided over the technical system of sustainable control of poplar longicorn beetles and won the second prize of China University Science and Technology Award of the Ministry of Education; In 2005, he presided over the research on the chemical defense mechanism of poplar against longicorn beetles and won the third prize of Hebei Natural Science Award. 1994 was awarded as a young and middle-aged expert in science (technology and management) with outstanding contributions in Hebei province.
