How long will the patent certificate come down?

The longest examination and authorization time for invention patents is about 30 months, that for utility models is about 10 months, and that for design is about 6 months. According to the laws of our country, after receiving an application for a patent for invention, the patent administrative department of the State Council, after preliminary examination, considers that it conforms to the provisions of this law, and shall publish it after 18 months from the date of application. The patent administration department of the State Council may publish its application at an early date upon the request of the applicant.
