Difference introduction
It is a differential mechanism that can transfer the rotary motion from one shaft to two shafts and make the latter rotate at different speeds. The automobile differential is the main part of the drive axle. Its function is to make the two half shafts rotate at different speeds while transmitting power to them, so as to ensure that the wheels on both sides run in the form of pure rolling as much as possible and reduce the friction between the tires and the ground.

When in use, the differential case is installed in the gearbox, and the two ends of the gearbox are provided with support holes; the two ends of the differential case are rotatably connected in the support holes at the two ends of the gearbox through the differential bearing; the left and right axle shafts of the automobile simultaneously pass through the axle holes and the axle shaft mounting holes and extend into the differential case, and then two axle gears are correspondingly connected to rotate through the axle shafts.
There are two structural forms of automobile differential: two-wheel drive differential and four-wheel drive differential. The spline size of four-wheel drive differential and two-wheel drive differential is different, but the bearing is universal. The spline of four-wheel drive differential is larger than that of two-wheel drive differential. In the process of differential production, the differential bearing is press-fitted to the differential housing through tooling.
