Type of printer toner cartridge

The toner cartridges of laser printers can be divided into the following three categories according to the combination mode: for users of laser printers, there are three options when replacing toner cartridges: original toner cartridges, universal toner cartridges (or compatible toner cartridges) and refilling toner cartridges. Printing quality is definitely the first factor that customers need to consider. There is no doubt that the original toner cartridge is obviously the best choice. Because the original toner cartridge is carefully integrated with other parts of the printer in the design process and the manufacturing process is meticulous, it can create an ideal printing effect, which is much better than other compatible products. However, due to the manual manufacturing process, the printing quality of refilled toner cartridges is even more mixed, which is difficult to guarantee. The printing quality of general-purpose toner cartridges can basically meet the output requirements of printers, and some can even exceed the standard of original toner cartridges. However, it may be different in some special circumstances, for example, there may be some ambiguity when printing 2-pound fine print. The printing process always seems simple, just connect the printer and send instructions. It is the effort made in every printing detail that allows users to obtain ideal printing results only through this simple operation process.

Of course, when considering the printing quality, the printing cost is also a very important consideration, especially for price-sensitive individual users. Many people will think that the quality of the original product is good, but at the same time the price is relatively high, which is actually an incorrect understanding. A large number of objective tests show that the single-page printing cost of the original toner cartridge is not very high, and the overall consumption cost is relatively low. Because of its long service life, the original toner cartridge can save costs for users more than the price of the printer itself. Therefore, it is recommended to use the original toner cartridge. General selenium drum is also a famous brand production, and the product quality is also guaranteed. Although the price is slightly lower than that of the original toner cartridge, the number of printed sheets is less than that of the original toner cartridge, so the overall printing cost is similar to that of the original toner cartridge. As for the refilled toner cartridge, although its price is very attractive, the total printing cost is by no means lower than that of the original toner cartridge and universal toner cartridge because the number of printed sheets is too small, even less than half of that of the original toner cartridge. The life of the toner cartridge refers to the number of sheets that can be printed by the printer toner cartridge. The more paper you can print, the longer the service life of the toner cartridge. The life of the photosensitive drum is determined by the photosensitive drum. For small and medium-sized office users with relatively heavy printing tasks, they should be willing to pay more attention to higher monthly printing load (10000 pages or more) and long-life toner cartridges (life can reach 20000 pages)-these two models with high indicators are generally more reliable, otherwise paper jams and even frequent replacement of toner cartridges will greatly reduce printing efficiency and increase maintenance and overall printing costs.

According to different photosensitive materials, toner cartridges are mainly divided into three types: OPC toner cartridges (organic photoconductive materials), Se toner cartridges and ceramic toner cartridges. In terms of service life, OPC toner cartridges are generally about 3000 pages, Se toner cartridges 10000 pages, and ceramic toner cartridges 100000 pages. 1, avoid using and storing in high humidity, high temperature and cold environment. Do not tear the seal before using the toner cartridge, otherwise the toner will agglomerate once it is wet, which will affect the printing effect or lead to lighter printing color. If the selenium drum is stored in a high temperature or cold place for a long time, it should be restored to room temperature for a period of time before use.

2. Try to avoid exposing the toner cartridge to strong light for a long time. Don't tear the plastic bag when the toner cartridge is not in use, especially don't open the photosensitive drum hood on the toner cartridge casually. If exposed to bright light for more than ten minutes, the drum will be scrapped.

3. When replacing the toner cartridge, it is best to use a vacuum cleaner to clean the place where the toner cartridge is placed in the machine, and use a soft cloth to clean the paper scraps and toner accumulated on cleaning paper Road. Exposed electrical contacts can be wiped with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to maintain good electrical contact.

4. Don't turn the OPC drum core by hand without authorization. Pay attention to the direction of OPC drum core rotation. If the rotation direction is wrong, the parts will be damaged, and powder leakage or printing stains will be caused when printing.

5. Don't use crumpled, uneven cut, too thick, too hard and rough paper when selecting printing paper, which will affect the printing quality and wear the photosensitive drum.

6. Shake the toner drum horizontally for 6-8 times before putting it on the printer, so that the toner is loosely and evenly distributed, and then pull out the sealing strip, otherwise it may be uneven one by one.

7. Ensure that the toner cartridge is away from the monitor, hard disk or any other magnetic substance. Laser printers have won the favor of consumers because of their good printing quality, low noise and high speed. By 20 12, the market share of laser printers has increased rapidly and become the leading product in the market. Selenium drum is a very important part in laser printer. The quality of the toner cartridge affects the printing quality, and the life of the toner cartridge affects the printing cost. Based on years of working experience, the author briefly discusses the storage and maintenance experience of laser printer toner cartridges, hoping to help users who use laser printers.

Generally speaking, the original laser printer toner cartridge has a specially designed protective package to provide the longest storage time. In addition to sealing the package, it is also sealed with special tape. According to the date of production, the average life of the toner cartridge stored in sealed packaging is about two and a half years (referring to the storage time plus the use time).

Note: once the sealed package is damaged, it is suggested that the total storage and use time is six months.

Keep the following points in mind when storing unopened toner cartridges:

1. should be placed in the direction specified on the packing box (the arrow is up).

2. Store in normal environment (normal temperature and humidity)

3. Avoid direct sunlight and be close to heat sources (such as heating and steam pipes).

4. If it is stored in the warehouse workshop, the following conditions shall be met: after opening the package, if it is exposed to strong light, the performance of the surface material of the photosensitive drum will deteriorate. If directly exposed to sunlight, about 10000 ~ 30000 lux will cause permanent damage to the selenium drum. In addition, the environment will affect the performance of toner.

The following points should be kept in mind when storing barrels with sealed packages open:

1. The toner cartridges removed from the packaging must be used up within six months. After half a year, the performance of each component of the toner cartridge will become unstable and the printing quality will decline, depending on the environment at that time.

2. Avoid direct sunlight or put the toner cartridge by the window. In hot season, do not leave the toner cartridge in the car for a long time (even unopened toner cartridges).

3. Avoid environments with rapidly changing temperature and humidity, such as air conditioning or heating.

4. Avoid dust environment or close to corrosive chemicals, such as ammonia or organic solvent vapor.

5. It is forbidden to expose the toner cartridge to the environment above 104 F (40℃). 1, preparation work

Prepare special toner for laser printer suitable for printer model, and carry tools for laser printer toner box, including: screwdriver, diagonal pliers (pointed pliers), cotton, brush, leather tiger (or hair dryer), etc.

2. Take out the toner cartridge

First, take out the toner cartridge from the laser printer, find the fixing screw on the printer's toner cartridge cover, remove the screw for fixing the toner cartridge cover with a screwdriver, and put the screw away. Then gently pry open the buckle on the toner box cover with a flat screwdriver, and then open the toner box cover. When the cover of the toner cartridge is opened, the waste toner in the toner cartridge will overflow. In order to prevent pollution, a newspaper should be spread on the table in advance, and attention should be paid to keeping the working environment clean during the process of charging the toner cartridge.

3. Clean the residual toner in the toner box.

Many printer toner cartridges do not actually use up all the toner in the laser printer selenium when they are replaced with powder. Some toner often remains in waste toner cartridges or toner cartridges. If it is not cleaned, the toner we added may be incompatible with the original toner and form a block solid. Therefore, before adding toner, we must clean the toner in the original toner box. When cleaning, empty the waste toner box and toner box first, and then gently wipe off the toner remaining at the edge of the toner box with a brush. Where the brush can't clean, we can clean up the waste toner with a leather tiger or a hair dryer. After cleaning the toner in the toner cartridge, we also need to clean the toner around the toner cartridge with a brush. After cleaning the waste toner in the toner box and waste toner box, we also need to clean the waste toner on the charging roller and magnetic roller. Let's take cleaning the charging roller as an example to introduce the cleaning method. When cleaning the charging roller, first find the fixing screws of the charging roller (generally on both sides of the charging roller) and unscrew the screws with a screwdriver. Carefully remove the charging roller from the toner cartridge. Generally, there are plastic gears at both ends of the charging roller. Before wiping, we should remove the gears at both ends of the charging roller.

4. Add new toner to the toner cartridge.

After the above cleaning, new toner is added to the toner box. When adding, unscrew the purchased toner bottle cap, tear off the sealing paper at the bottle mouth, and slowly pour the toner into the toner box of the toner box until it is full. In order to avoid the toner overflowing when the toner is poured into the toner box, we can pad the toner box with printing paper, which is convenient for adding powder to the toner box. After adding toner, cover the toner cartridge and waste toner cartridge and tighten the screws. Then wipe off the toner around the toner box with a clean brush or soft cloth. Before putting the toner cartridge into the printer, we shake the toner cartridge left and right by hand to make the toner in the toner cartridge evenly distributed, so as to print normally in the future.

5. Put the toner cartridge into the laser printer and test the printing effect of the toner cartridge.
