Gibson and Finder have good guitars.

There are many differences between Gibson's and Fanta's guitars, except for the configuration of the pickup. Only the part of the physical electric guitar is discussed here.

Both manufacturers began to develop solid electric guitars in the 1950s. Fanta first introduced Telacaster in 1950, and then Stratocaster in 1958. Gibson Company, which has been competing with it, introduced its classic model les paul in 1952, and made many improvements in the following years, thus producing several other models of the same classic les paul series. Fender Strat, Gibson Lespaul, two classic models and two representative works of manufacturers.

Fanta's initial market positioning was cheap musical instruments, so the factory has always used assembly line for mass production. Guitar also uses cheaper wood, such as the earliest ash wood, later basswood and alder wood. These Woods can be planted artificially and are very cheap. The neck is made of ordinary maple, and the front of the neck is directly processed into a fingerboard without additional pasting. The body and neck of the piano are connected by screws, which is suitable for rapid assembly and saves cost. The pickup is generally configured with a single coil, which is matched with a low-density piano body (generally, the whole piano weighs about 3 kilograms) to create a bright and round tone of Fender piano. Although a little thin, there are many supporters. Stratocaster crank system introduced by 1958 has become a historical classic.

The structure of Gibson guitar is closer to the traditional acoustic guitar. The plug-in neck connection of the piano head, 13 degree dihedral angle and the symmetrical design of the piano head are all obvious signs. This process makes its cost higher than Fanta's products. Gibson's piano body is generally made of mahogany, a kind of wood with high density. The raw materials of this kind of wood are only wild and scattered, and the output is limited, which has become one of the reasons for the high cost of Gibson guitar. Because of the high density of mahogany and low timbre, the designer pasted a layer of maple on the piano surface to improve its high-frequency performance and aesthetic feeling. It can be seen that the wood configuration of Gibson piano is generally as follows: mahogany neck, piano body and maple veneer (different models have different patterns and grades). This wooden configuration and Gibson's patented dual-coil pickup (mainly P-90 pickup before this kind of pickup appeared) created Gibson's classic rich sound, which was widely used in the rock/metal direction.

Gibson les paul model, generally the weight of the whole piano is a little more than 4 kilograms.

The difference between Fanta and Gibson guitars is mainly in structure. As for users, both manufacturers have a lot of signed musicians. Take eric clapton as an example. He signed a contract with Fanta Factory in 1980s, but before that, his main piano was Gibson SG, and he also had a red Gibson ES-335.
