What is the STCC sewage treatment process?

STCC sewage treatment and advanced purification technology is a new type of biological aerated filter with multi-media fillers developed by Wuhan Xintian Delta Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. on the basis of digesting and absorbing advanced technologies at home and abroad, after application practice and summary, according to the national conditions of China. This technology uses natural materials such as charcoal and processes them into packed beds. The effluent from urban sewage treatment is superior to the first-class A standard of the National Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants (GB 189 18—2002) and can reach the fourth-class standard of the National Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water (GB3838—2002). Its technical characteristics are the combination of biological oxidation and filtration, excellent effluent quality and small facility area. The technological innovation is the application of a new type of filler "unsaturated carbon", which provides a good compound metabolism environment for microorganisms and improves the purification efficiency.

The cell structure of STCC process is very similar to that of biological aerated filter (BAF), which is characterized by upflow, granular or blocky filter material and no suspension when submerged in water. Each unit consists of the following parts: ① water distribution device; (2) filler supporting base and supporting materials; ③ Various media fillers; ④ Aeration or backwashing gas pipeline; ⑤ Sludge extraction device; ⑤ Top cover; ⑦ Treated sewage and discharge equipment. Its structural form adopts reinforced concrete, and it can also adopt a small sewage purification integrated treatment device.
