Deng Jianhui, Ph.D., is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Water Resources and Hydropower of Sichuan University, deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Hydraulics, Development and Protection of Mountains and Rivers, executive deputy director of the Institute of Engineering Science and Disaster Mechanics, and a national registered civil engineer (geotechnical).
