He has worked in Maanshan Mining Research Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and Wuhan Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has served as the executive deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Geotechnical Mechanics of the China Academy of Sciences, the responsible researcher of the landslide disaster direction group, the doctoral supervisor, the academic committee member and the third committee member of the institute. From June 5438 to February 2004, he was transferred to the School of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering of Sichuan University as the executive deputy director of the Institute of Engineering Science and Disaster Mechanics. During the period 1999 and 2003, he visited the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Hong Kong twice to study the stability of rock slope and the mechanism of reservoir landslide. From April 2000 to April 2006, 5438+0 visited university of alberta, Canada, engaged in the study of reservoir bank slope stability and debris flow, and served as the vice chairman of the Students and Scholars Association of China, university of alberta, Canada.
