How to steam rice in a pressure cooker?

The pressure cooker can steam rice. Steaming rice directly in a pressure cooker is the same as steaming rice in an electric cooker. The ratio of rice to water must be well controlled. After the fire boils until the pressure cooker is steaming, add a pressure limiting valve and then inject air. Turn the heat down and turn it off for 8 minutes. After the pressure in the pressure cooker drops, the rice is ready.

The ratio of rice to water in the pressure cooker must be appropriate. Don't turn on the pressure cooker immediately after steaming. You can wait a while before opening it, so the effect will be better.

Before each use of the pressure cooker, it is best to carefully check whether the exhaust hole of the pressure limiting valve is unobstructed (it can be dredged by toothpicks) and keep the anti-blocking cover clean. The pot of pressure cooker should not contain too much food, generally not more than four fifths of the height of the pot, and not more than half of the pot body for some food that is easy to swell.

When the pressure limiting valve works, it is only necessary to reduce the firepower and keep the pressure limiting valve moving slightly. Generally, the safe service life of pressure cookers does not exceed eight years. In order to ensure the safety of the pressure cooker and avoid the failure of the fuse caused by material changes, even under normal use, the fuse in the fuse safety valve should be replaced once every six months, so as to use it more safely.

In addition, the spring safety valve has a long service life. Of course, if it is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
