Past main work and achievements: Mainly engaged in research related to ultra-short pulse lasers. In recent years, the representative achievements include:
1. Proposed and realized the first time to achieve different solid state The passive synchronization technology of femtosecond laser was rated as "opening up a way to coherently synthesize attosecond periodic pulses" by the reviewers of Opt Lett magazine; 2. Measured and realized the carrier envelope phase shift of passively synchronized femtosecond laser (CEO) Control, was rated as "This is a heroic experiment" by the reviewers of Opt Lett magazine;
3. Using a series of new technologies to successfully develop a terawatt-class miniaturized ultra-strong ultra-short pulse laser device, which won the China Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress Award of the Academy of Sciences;
4. Using new technical solutions to break the 10-year-old ultra-short laser pulse world record with foreign counterparts, it was summarized as the 40-year history of laser by Laser Focus World magazine One of the landmark results;
5. Successfully designed and developed a series of femtosecond laser devices with advanced comprehensive performance and provided them to many users at home and abroad. The above research results have been published in more than 60 papers in important domestic and foreign magazines, cited more than 300 times by SCI papers, and obtained more than 10 authorized patents, including one American invention and four Chinese inventions. In 1998, he won the Rao Yutai Optics Award and the Outstanding Scientific and Technological Youth Award of the Institute of Physics. In 1997 and 2000, he won the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Academy of Sciences. In 2001, he won the Young Scientist Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2002, he won the National Outstanding Youth Fund.
