A few days ago, we learned the patent application drawings of Audi's new A5 from relevant channels. The new car generally continues the design of the old model, with certain modifications to the details.
The appearance of the new car is not much different from that of the old model. The family-style hexagonal air intake grille adopts a honeycomb design inside and is larger in size, giving it a strong sense of sportiness. Compared with overseas versions, the A5 in the domestic market adds vertical chrome decorations on both sides of the front fog lamps, and is equipped with thick five-spoke wheels on the sides of the body, which looks very powerful. The changes in the rear part of the car mainly focus on the shape of the exhaust port. The domestically declared model adopts a large-size round exhaust port.
In terms of power, the overseas version of the new Audi A5 model provides 1.4T and 2.0T gasoline engines, and is equipped with a 12V micro-hybrid system. The transmission system is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch or 8-speed automatic transmission.
In conclusion, Audi’s new A5 still offers two-door Coupe and four-door Sportback models, and more powerful S and RS versions will also be launched. At present, the power parameters of the domestic market models have not been officially announced by manufacturers, and we will continue to pay attention. (Author: GZC)
