Are patent agents qualified to take the judicial examination?
A patent agent refers to a person who has obtained a patent agent qualification certificate, holds a patent agent practice certificate and is engaged in patent agency work full-time. After passing the patent agent qualification examination, you can engage in patent application and related business in patent agencies. The patent agent qualification certificate is not a practice certificate. After passing the examination, you can get a practice certificate by practicing in a patent agency for one year and participating in the training organized by the National Patent Agents Association. After one year's practice, you will be qualified as a partner. You don't need the company's consent to apply for the exam, but the academic qualifications require college degree or above in science and engineering, and liberal arts can't apply for the exam, which requires more than two years' work experience. Find any company to give you a certificate. Generally, registration starts at the beginning of June and ends in the middle of the year. The exam is arranged on the first weekend of 1 1. There are three courses in the Patent Agent Qualification Examination. The first volume is Patent Law (full mark 150, 100 multiple-choice questions), the second volume is related methods (full mark 100 multiple-choice questions), and the third volume is practice (full mark 100 multiple-choice questions). The patent agency exam also takes the law exam, but the content and form of the exam are very different from the judicial exam. I passed more than 400 points in the judicial examination (360 points in the national line) at one time, and failed the patent agency examination without careful preparation. In the second year, I passed the exam after honest review. China citizens who support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and meet the following conditions can register for the national patent agent qualification examination: 1. 18 years old and have full capacity for civil conduct; 2. University degree in science and engineering or equivalent; 3. Familiar with patent law and related legal knowledge; 4. Engaged in scientific and technical work or legal work for more than two years. Graduation of science and engineering majors in colleges and universities refers to obtaining a college degree or above recognized by the state and obtaining a diploma or degree certificate. If you have a degree in science and engineering, graduated for two years, and are preparing for the proxy exam, I suggest you go to the Sibo Patent Forum, where there is a lot of exchange of experience in preparing for the exam.
