Achievements: Hubei Institute of Aerospace Chemistry and Technology, namely 42 institutes of the Fourth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, is the earliest and most powerful composite solid propellant research institute in China. More than 200 technological achievements have won the National Invention Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award at or above the provincial and ministerial level, and granted patents 167, which was recognized as "the fifth batch of national technology transfer demonstration institutions" by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
