China applicants filed 69,000 international patent applications through the Patent Cooperation Treaty, ranking first in the world, with 576 10 registered trademarks. Received 7,553 applications for international registration of Madrid trademarks from domestic applicants, 3,365,438 registered works and 65,438 registered computer software copyrights. 765 geographical indication trademarks were registered, 6 geographical indication protection products were recognized, 52 enterprises with special geographical indications were approved, 2,549 new varieties of agricultural plants and 44 new varieties of forestry plants were awarded. In the Global Innovation Index Report 2020 released by the World Intellectual Property Organization, China ranks 14, while China ranks 2065434.
