Product invention refers to creating corresponding new products through people's knowledge activities. In the patent laws of various countries, the scope of protection of product inventions has certain restrictions. Not all inventions can be patented. For example, a material invention obtained in violation of national laws and public welfare cannot be patented. The product stipulated in the patent law can be an independent whole product or a part of equipment or machinery.
Several specific categories of product invention patents include:
First, the invention of machines, equipment, related devices and other products;
The second is the invention of chemicals, medicines, food and other material products.
Third, the invention of glass, ceramics, artificial diamonds, artificial insulin and other materials.
Fourth, new-use inventions of other products, for example, new inventions produced by chemical reaction or processing of crude oil products. For example, water is converted into electric energy for nuclear reaction to generate electricity or light.
2. Improve invention patents
An improved invention refers to a technical scheme that substantially changes an existing product invention or method invention. The difference between improved invention and product invention and method invention lies in that new products and methods are not created, but substantial innovative technology plans are made according to existing products or methods. Moreover, this is a further improvement and improvement of the existing invention. The improved invention can bring new features to the existing products and methods, or cause some changes in quality, but it does not change the important attributes of the original invention at all. For example, Edison invented the incandescent light bulb, and General Electric Company invented filling the incandescent light bulb with inert gas. It improves the manufacturing method of incandescent lamp, improves the quality and life of lamp, and greatly improves the efficiency.
