First, the name
(1) Registration conditions
China citizens who support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and meet the following conditions may sign up for the national patent agent qualification examination:
1. Eighteen years old or above, with full capacity for civil conduct;
2. University degree in science and engineering or equivalent;
3. Familiar with patent law and related legal knowledge;
4. Engaged in scientific and technical work or legal work for more than two years.
Graduation of science and engineering majors in colleges and universities refers to obtaining a college degree or above recognized by the state and obtaining a diploma.
(2) Time and place of registration
Examination registration time is from May 12 to June 10, 2008. Applicants should register at the registration place set up by the Intellectual Property Office of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government where the test center is located within the registration time (see Annex for the specific registration place and application form).
Applicants can download the application form from China National Intellectual Property Administration website (address).
(3) Application materials
1.2008 National Patent Agent Qualification Examination Registration Form;
2. Original and photocopy of my valid ID card (resident ID card, military officer's card, passport, permanent resident ID card);
3. Original and photocopy of academic certificate;
4. Original work certificate;
5. Three recent one-inch color bareheaded photos;
6. Examination registration fee.
Second, testing.
(1) Date and place of the exam
The 2008 national patent agent qualification examination is scheduled to be held simultaneously in the national 12 test center cities on October 0-2, 2008. 12 test center cities are: Beijing, Hohhot, Shenyang, Shanghai, Hefei, Jinan, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Guiyang, Xi 'an and Lanzhou.
Candidates can choose the test center according to their own situation and sign up for the exam.
