The total length of the line is 4.875 kilometers and the main bridge is 702 meters. The bridge deck is a two-way eight-lane urban expressway with a design speed of 100km/h and a total investment of 1 1 100 million yuan.

Design features:

Panyu Bridge is the second large bridge on the east line of Guangzhou-Zhuhai, and it is also the first cable-stayed bridge with long-span concrete beam inverted Y-shaped pylon in China. It has the characteristics of long bridge, wide deck, high pier, new bridge type and large span.

In order to reduce the load effects of temperature, shrinkage, creep and earthquake, the bridge layout is a floating system with separated towers and beams, and a prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge with twin towers and double cable planes is adopted.

Among them, the main bridge adopts the DP section of the leading edge beam, the approach bridge is a separated bridge, and the main tower adopts the rhombic reinforced concrete frame structure; The main girder is poured with the hanging basket (hanging basket) at the front fulcrum, which is closed at the side span and the middle span successively; Auxiliary piers are set on the side span to increase the stiffness of the whole bridge; Stay cables are arranged according to spatial double cable planes.
